The Comic Strip
While reading several comic strips, there where a couple of things that captured my attention. The first thing, is the language that is used on them. It might be my lack of knowledge, but the sentences are structured on ways that are difficult to understand. I mostly believe this is due to the time period, as most of the comics that are ready where written on the 1240's. The second thing that I notices is that they all seem to have a linear structure. This is something that I believe has changed with time. Current comics are way more dynamic and experimental when it comes to the positioning of images on a page. Lastly, I noticed they all have similar subject matter. with this i mean that they all deal with mundane situations. There would be no fantasy, no mystery, just your normal human life with a small twist that is predictable most of the time.
It was interesting reading all these old comics strips and compare then to the comics we produce today.
